Is Mended Remedies free?
Yes. Search, the dictionary, daily check-ins, and saving remedies are all free. There is no subscription right now. If we ever add paid features, the core experience you signed up for stays free.
How do I get the app?
Mended Remedies is on the iOS App Store. Tap any Download button on this site, or search for Mended Remedies on your iPhone. It is free to download and you can start searching the moment it opens.
Do I need an account?
Not to explore. You can search and read remedies without signing up. An account lets you save remedies, build meal plans, and keep your check-in history across devices.
How does the search work?
Describe how you feel in plain language, like "I can't sleep and my mind races." The search understands meaning, not just keywords, and pulls matching remedies and meals from all fourteen traditions at once, ranked by relevance.
Is the content medically reviewed?
Mended Remedies is an informational resource, not a medical platform. Entries draw on traditional practice and published research, with cautions and contraindications listed where known. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always talk to a qualified provider before starting any remedy, especially if you are pregnant, have a condition, or take medication.
Where does the information come from?
Fourteen healing traditions, from Ayurveda and Caribbean bush medicine to Western clinical herbalism. Every entry is researched, sourced, and audited before it ships, and each remedy lists its sources so you can read further.
Why isn't the search finding what I expect?
Try describing the feeling rather than naming a remedy. "Brain fog and low energy" usually surfaces better results than a single ingredient name. Remedy names work too, but symptoms are what the search is built around.
Is Mended Remedies available on Android?
iOS first. Android is on the roadmap once the iOS launch settles. Join the newsletter on the home page and you will hear the moment it lands.
How do I report incorrect information?
We take accuracy seriously. Email
support@mendedremedies.com with the entry name and what looks wrong. A real person reads every report.
Is my data private?
Yes. We do not sell your data or run ads. Your searches, saves, and check-ins are private to your account. The Privacy Policy has the full details.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Profile, then Settings, then Delete Account. It permanently removes your account and everything in it. Stuck? Email
